Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 2026

Raya’s Paradise, Inc. (“Raya’s Paradise,” “we,” “us” or “our”) operates rayasparadise.com and the related community pages described on our communities page (collectively, the “Site”). We provide assisted living, memory care, respite and related senior living services in Los Angeles and Orange County.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use and share it and the privacy rights and choices available to you as a California resident. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Scope of This Policy

This policy covers information collected through our website. It does not govern the confidential resident and health records we maintain when we provide care. Those records are handled under separate confidentiality protections, described under “Health and Medical Information” below.

If you are a current resident, a family member or a responsible party, the agreements and notices you received at move-in govern the personal and health information tied to care. This Site policy and those care documents work together but are not the same thing.

Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you give us directly, information collected automatically and information from service providers acting on our behalf.

Information you provide. When you submit a tour request, a contact form, a careers application or a payment, or when you call or text us, we may collect:

  • Identifiers such as your name, postal address, email address and phone number.
  • Inquiry details such as the care needs, timing and budget you choose to share.
  • Employment information if you apply through our careers page.
  • Payment-related information processed through our secure third-party resident portal.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our analytics providers may collect Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, device identifiers, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, time spent and similar usage data through cookies and related technologies.

Information from third parties. We may receive limited information from advertising, analytics or referral partners, and from professionals (such as discharge planners or physicians) who refer a prospective resident to us with appropriate authorization.

We do not knowingly collect more information than we need to respond to you and operate the Site.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries, schedule and confirm tours, process applications and payments, communicate by phone, email or SMS, improve the Site, measure marketing performance, maintain security and meet our legal and licensing obligations.

We use website usage data to understand how visitors find and navigate our pages so we can improve content and the experience. We do not use the Site to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small files placed on your device that help the Site function, remember preferences and measure performance. We use necessary cookies for core functionality and analytics cookies to understand site usage. Where enabled, we may use advertising cookies to measure and improve our marketing.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and through the choices described under “Your Privacy Choices” below. If you disable some cookies, parts of the Site may not work as intended. To learn how cookies and similar tools work, see the Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on online tracking and advertising.

How We Share Information

We share personal information only as described here. We share with service providers and contractors (such as hosting, analytics, communications, scheduling and payment vendors) who process information on our behalf and are contractually limited to that purpose.

We may share information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect the safety of residents, staff or the public, enforce our terms or investigate fraud. In a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some analytics and advertising technologies may involve “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. You can opt out using the controls described in “Your Privacy Choices.”

Health and Medical Information

Raya’s Paradise communities are Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly licensed by the California Department of Social Services. When we provide care, we create and maintain resident records that may include health-related information.

We treat that information as confidential. We handle medical information consistent with the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA) and the resident records and confidentiality requirements that apply to our license type. We do not disclose resident medical information without authorization, except as permitted or required by law.

Our website is not designed to collect medical records or detailed health histories. Please do not submit sensitive health details through website forms. Share that information directly with our care team during your consultation instead.

Your California Privacy Rights

California law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (the “CCPA”), gives California residents specific rights. To the extent the CCPA applies to us, and as a matter of policy regardless, you may request to:

  • Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
  • Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
  • Be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

Medical information already protected under the CMIA, and protected health information governed by federal law, are generally exempt from the CCPA, so some rights may apply differently to that information.

To submit a request, contact us by phone, email or our online form. We will verify your request before responding and will reply within the timeframes California law requires. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. You can learn more about these rights from the California Attorney General’s privacy resource and the California Privacy Protection Agency.

Your Privacy Choices

To opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and to limit certain cookies, you can:

  • Use our “Your Privacy Choices” link in the Site footer, where available.
  • Enable a browser-based opt-out preference signal such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC). We treat a recognized GPC signal as a valid opt-out request for the browser or device that sends it.
  • Adjust cookie controls in your browser settings.

Do Not Track and Opt-Out Preference Signals

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. Because there is still no common industry standard for DNT, we do not respond to DNT signals at this time. We do honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including GPC, as described above.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to meet our licensing and legal obligations or to resolve disputes. Resident and care records are retained for the periods required by the regulations that apply to our license.

Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No website or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us right away.

Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites, such as job application portals or industry resources. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for adults arranging care for themselves or a loved one. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

SMS and Text Messaging

If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send appointment confirmations, scheduling updates and information about our communities. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Mobile information collected for SMS consent is not shared with third parties for their own marketing. See our Terms of Use for full SMS program terms.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology or our practices. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last Updated” date and post the new version on this page. Significant changes may also be communicated through a notice on the Site.
